It's stag beetle season on the farm. These mighty little critters are fascinating and many hours can easily be spent watching and shepherding them to safety. The pic below is of a female stag beetle who came out for a wander last night. Keep your eyes peeled! If you want to spot some stag beetles, I recommend heading to Wiston Church just before dusk. You stand a good chance of seeing them on the footpath - tread carefully!
